Praise for Documentation Wizard
Therapists from Boston to Kaua'i have participated in live or online workshops and use Documentation Wizard Master Forms in their practices. They have a few words to say ...
"Medicare completed my audit and found no errors — no fine, no claw back. I take this as a
reflection on the excellent training and documentation forms you offer."
– K.J., Ph.D.Psychologist
"Your presentation style, presence, and expertise were excellent: clear, thorough, the right mix of info, audience participation and question taking, great time management. The templates are a great value and the training about how to document was essential, so the complete package is really well integrated."
- Kendra Schpok, LCMHC, ATR
"Beth's documentation workshop is an unexpected gem: documentation made bearable by a group setting, clear and useful outlines, and the hidden surprise that it all improves one's thinking and thus conscious treatment of clients. I highly, highly recommend it. "
- Zonda Mercer, MD.
"Best conference ever! (And I’ve attended 25 years of continuing ed!). Many seminars are philosophical and not easily adapted to treatment. This seminar was packed with specifics of treatment and will be easy to implement when working with clients."
- Any Hylton, LCSW
Beth is a wonderful and generous educator!!
- Cathy C. Renz, LICSW, Clinical Director, Renz Counseling, LLC
"You are a wonderful instructor and I look forward to listening more times to this online course. you really have a wonderful teaching style and offer a great deal of pertinent information. Wish I had met you 25 years ago!"
- Jamie Elizabeth Medvene, Ph.D.
"The training was fantastic and I found it at a time when I started to understand that narrative case notes were inadequate to current health insurance standards. Beth helped us all relax and then walked us through a thorough case based record system that is easy to use after the training and is fully HPPA-compliant. The record docs are now at my fingertips through the encrypted cloud and I have every confidence that they will protect me from any audit in ways that make my previous session narratives look practically foolish. Thanks you again, Beth!"
- Terry Hunt, EdD.
"Huge thanks for the great workshop yesterday, Beth. It was a wonderful and worthwhile program, and we very much appreciated how smooth and easy you made the whole process. I know that I personally learned a lot and found your presentation style and organization really helpful. Evaluations were overwhelmingly positive. Here are a few of the comments that stood out to me:
--Such an anxiety-reducing course!
-- Lives up to the hype!
--Very informative and great that the presenter has such in-depth knowledge of therapy.
- Barbara Burka, LICSW,
Director of Clinical Practice and Therapy Matcher for NASW MA
"While I’m still in the process of completing the on-line workshop, I just had to reach and say, “Thank You!!!” This is one of the BEST workshops, either live or on-line that I’ve ever taken. I’ve taken three other workshops on documentation, one of them was on Coding, in hopes of helping me better understand the differences between goals and objectives as well as better understanding how to document Medical Necessity. This is the first on-line workshop that I’ve taken where I’ve listened over and over again to the speaker because she/he is so clear and interesting, and the added time is worth my time."
- Anthony Zamudio, Ph.D.
"I just went through a 2nd phone review with UBH. It sure made a difference feeling well versed in what they are looking for. We met criteria and got approved to continue with weekly sessions. Thank you for a wonderful group experience."
- Diane Cohen, LICSW
"In her lucid, straightforward way, Beth helps participants translate what they do into the language of medical necessity, treatment models, goals and progress and shows how to document it all; a very worthwhile experience."
- Spencer Nineberg, LICSW
"I am delighted that I no longer feel that being an intuitive, attuned therapist trained in the Internal Family Systems Model is a barrier for accomplishing this goal! This was in large part because of Beth’s ability to teach documentation skills with confidence, curiosity, compassion and a LOT of clarity! Thank you, Beth!"
- Debbie Armstrong, LICSW
"I have been working on developing treatment plans along with my clients during sessions and have been finding the process extremely helpful for our work. So for me the class is improving my clinical work as well as my documentation skills."
- Barbara Kaplan, LICSW
"Having a relatively new private therapy practice, I wanted to make sure that the forms I use are comprehensive and thorough for documentation and insurance reimbursement purposes. The experience helped me clarify what documentation I need to include in my private practice. Our get-togethers led to many interesting and stimulating discussions, related not only to paperwork, but to clinical issues."
- Louise A. Goodman, LICSW
"Beth was able to convey practical concepts and tools that clinicians would be able to apply immediately to their psychotherapy practices. On the program evaluation forms, participants rated her presentation as excellent and very helpful for their clinical work. If you are searching for an engaging, well-organized and knowledgeable speaker, I highly recommend that you consider Beth Rontal."
- Ilene Swartz, LICSW
"I finished the training and downloaded all the forms— all I have to say is THANK YOU. I struggled with other tx plans’ simplicity and “one size fits all” of electronic platforms. I know this was an investment, but an investment for peace of mind. "
- Ana Barend, MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
"I want to thank you for a Sunday workshop that I was dreading. I thought it was going to be dry and boring with me feeling like I would want to leave asap. Instead, your presentation and warmth made the experience enjoyable. Hard to believe but true! I will highly recommend the workshop."
- Caryn Mushlin, LICSW
"Just a quick thank you for the workshop. I am a convert to your system. I just completed an assessment aka Rontal style and am using your session notes."
- Greta Averbach, LICSW
"Thanks so much Beth! I appreciate all your work over the years and have implemented all your recommendations from your training."
- Korah Hoffman, LMSW, MPA, Therapist, Owner
"I was really impressed with your training and your forms are fabulous. They are most helpful because you present best practice from both clinicians’ and auditors’ perspective."
-Aliexo Christie, LCSW
I took your documentation course and created a session note template in my EHR based on the clinical forms I purchased from you, and guess what! EVERY. SINGLE. NOTE. done before the next session starts! Total game changer! THANK YOU!!!!!
I have ALWAYS struggled with the narrative. Feels like too much or not enough. Even my previous templates that were mostly check boxes would take me too long because I felt I had to tell a story. Now that I know about using behavioral language that doesn’t tell a story, using the patient’s quote, describing my interventions, and the easy 1-2 sentence assessment, I don’t need to worry about that anymore and my documentation is a breeze! WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
-- Holly S, LCSW-R, New York
"I've begun using a couple of your forms for maybe the last 2 weeks and I must say, they've been quite helpful. My session notes force me to be shorter, sweeter and to the point; and I even finished a few of them in a few minutes, which surprised me. The intake form is also good for the same reason, and it covers many bases. I've yet to use the others, so time will tell with those. But so far, so good. Thank you again for giving me the privilege to access them. I appreciate it greatly."
- P.W., LCSW
"In January I received notice of a Medicare audit of 40 claims (for 90834). I am in Florida. I got the results today - 0% error rate and no clawback. I used Beth's forms. Just wanted to share this good news with everyone. Thank you Beth Rontal for simplifying the process. The auditor had nothing to say except 'keep up the good documentation.' Yay!!"
-- Linda Brant, Ph.D.
